Meet the Maker

Hello, my name is Kirsten.

An Idaho native putting roots down in my husband’s home state of Colorado, I am an artist, huntress, and outdoor enthusiast. I am a mother, a mover, a teacher, a creator, an appreciator of natural beauty. Growing up in a natural resources community I was raised to interact with the bounty of the seasons. Grouse tail feathers on the bedroom wall, whitetail deer meat in the freezer, and huckleberries in the pancakes, North Idaho fostered a sense of intimacy and appreciation of my environment.  Throughout adulthood I’ve continued to adopt ways to play outside and utilize my natural surroundings, so hunting has continued to become more fundamental to my lifestyle. I have always hunted to eat, but now I can also use hunting as a way to connect others to wildlife, to reconnect others to nature.
